The Xtra picks convince with an extremely stable geometry, which allows noticeably more power transmission and is also more forgiving if you pick the lock profile itself instead of the pins and don't notice it directly.
But these picks are not only a good choice for beginners, because our friends from Northern Europe in particular gave us locks that make you appreciate a pick with power reserves (keyword barrel pins and counter milling).
Due to the shape of the shaft, these picks may reach their limits in very paracentric lock profiles, but there are other picks on offer for these situations.
